More Family Sports Bond Success for Margaret
Uploaded Sunday, 24th Mar, 2019 at 22:51

IT WAS another week of "Ducks and Drakes", that is equal share of the spoils between lady members (ducks) and male members (drakes), however the drakes won all the major prizes.
For Sports Bond agent Margaret Downey it was family success as son Jonathan Downey (A1291) who won a major £50 prize. George McCullough (A8598) was a £50 winner on Brett Thompson's agency and the remaining £50 winner was Chris McCartney (B2820).

In the minor section all three lady winners have been previous winners and they are Sandra Lynn (A9199), Doreen Wylie (A1729) in Randalstown and Tracey Moore (A2542).

No Jackpot was allocated with the numbers 15, 17, 21 and 23 and so the Jackpot is a healthy £350 for this week.
Direct Canvassing
With the clearer evenings direct canvassing is taking place in the town and Ballykeel II areas to help new agents Dylan Bell and Alex Beverland. If you receive a knock on the door then take the opportunity to sign up.
Grand Sports Draw
On the eve of this year's draw last year's winner Bobby Crossey and nephew Peter Toal visited Paris to see Paris St Germain (PSG) play Marseille. They flew over on Friday evening and then met Jonathan Calderwood, PSG Groundsman at the Parc des Princes on Saturday lunch time. They were given a splendid stadium tour and got their tickets and VIP passes for the game on the Sunday. The game itself, the most sought after game in France, was a magnificent game which PSG won 3-1. Bobby says it was a trip of a lifetime and praised Jonathan Calderwood for his attention to them and claimed they were given five star treatment.

This year will see this as a repeat, thanks to Jonathan, so if you speak to Bobby you will see what a fabulous time awaits the winner!
Sympathy to the Friel Family
We were all saddened to learn of the sudden passing of John Doran. John was Cathair Friel's grandfather and he was a favourite of First Score and was recently a winner at Seaview in the Tennent's Irish Cup. To all the family circle we extend our sympathy.
