Sports Bond Celebrates 900 Weeks with a £1000 Jackpot
Uploaded Sunday, 10th Feb, 2019 at 21:53

IT'S A BIG WEEK for Ballymena United with an appearance in the BetMcLean League Cup Final on Saturday, however back domestically Sports Bond celebrates it's 900 weekly draw with a guaranteed £1000 Jackpot draw.
The whole event of this notable milestone may have gone unnoticed but for excellent work by club Treasurer Bill Parkinson, he alerted promoter Brian Thompson that the 900 weeks of this well known licensed draw was also the week of a guaranteed £1000 draw! Last weeks Jackpot numbers of 13, 14, 22 and 28 saw no Jackpot allocated and so a guaranteed £1000 draw was secured for this week. There are more £1000 winners in the area and beyond and a member this week will get that amount. With Spring around the corner and holidays being planned no better time to pick up a £1000 Jackpot.

As for the major and minor winners it was a case of deja vu. Agent Alastair Shaw had a £50 major winner recently with K Rainey (B6152) and this week K Rainey won again with a major £50. Alastair informs us that K stands for both Kathy and Ken so both have a share of £50! At Christmas Sky Blue fan John Surgenor (A9307) was a £50 winner and this week he repeated the feat. In Ahoghill another win for Ann Dickey's Paper Rack, this time it was William Elder (B7495).

In Cullybackey Tommy Campbell was a £10 winner, Isobel Gillespie was a £10 winner but our farthest away winner this week is Sky Blue fan Jonathan Anderson (A5588) who lives in Kinross, Scotland.

So Sports Bond reaches a unique milestone of 900 and must be the oldest membership draw in the country. To join ring 07831 803970 and you could end up winning £1000 like a member will this week. Support Ballymena United, join Sports Bond.
First Score
Matthew Whyte enjoyed his trip to The Brandywell on Saturday as he had the 16 minute (15.56) winning First Score card and collected £30.

A large First Score is in circulation for Saturday's League Cup Final so make sure you get yours and support the club. If you are a winner it could top a great evening at Windsor.
Walk of Hope
Brian Thompson will complete his walk to Windsor from the centre of Belfast on Saturday, he reached there on Friday. On Saturday he will do a short tour of Ballymena before heading off to Belfast. Please support his efforts for Bravehearts as he completes another Walk of Hope.
