A Tale of Two Marys
Uploaded Sunday, 27th Jan, 2019 at 21:26

THIS WEEK we had two lovely ladies called Mary have Sports Bond success, both are also senior citizens so we are delighted even more to be paying out to them for their great support.
In the north of the town Mary Boyle (A8360) was a £50 major winner while in the south of the town Mary Glass (A4922) was also a £50 major winner. The only male £50 winner this week was from the big Sky Blue supporting Gillespie family, it was Peter Gillespie (A6584) who picked up the £50 and he is a member of Robert Logan's agency in Cloughmills.

All three £10 winners were male members and all have been previous Sports Bond winners. Robert Duddy (A5551) on the agency of the Seven Towers, Bertie Warwick (A6263) in Randalstown was Brett Thompson's second winner this week and Ken Anderson (A0907) in Antrim was a £10 winner on Alastair Shaw's agency.

Still no Jackpot allocated with the numbers 3, 7, 11 and 18 and so the Jackpot rises to £900 for this week's draw. If not won this week or next then the week Ballymena United play in the BetMcLean League Cup final the £1000 Jackpot will be on offer to a member that week. A big week for Sports Bond and Ballymena United.
Agents News
Sports Bond and Ballymena United were saddened with the news of the sudden passing of Willy John Surgenor of Broughshane. Willy was a great lover of football often watching Braid United in the morning and Ballymena United on Saturday afternoons. A great supporter of Sports Bond and united promotions he will be sorely missed at the Showgrounds.

Sympathy is also extended to Billy Beattie and Darren Walker, members of Maurice Anderson's agency, who have had family bereavements.
Walk of Hope
Brian Thompson has two Walks of Hope in February and both are to Windsor. For the past two seasons he has walked to Seaview and Windsor Park for the League Cup Final and decided to do the same for this year's final on 16th February. The following week the Danske Bank Premiership match is at Windsor and Linfield have kindly granted a collection at the ground.
Autographed Football
This week's match sponsor is TM Flooring and match ball sponsor JMcC Health and Fitness are offering as a prize a football signed by Ballymena United squad. They are asking the question "Who scored for Ballymena in the 1989 Irish Cup Final against Larne?". Send your entry and name to jmcchealthandfitness@hotmail.com
