Uploaded Sunday, 6th Jan, 2019 at 21:31

THE FIRST Sports Bond draw of 2019 saw 3 members who joined in 2018 have success. Caly Mark (A0292) joined in mid 2018 and has already had a £10 win, now she has had a £50 major win and for the second week in a row new agent Dylan Bell has had a major winner.
In Cullybackey Roy Montgomery (A6888) joined in late spring and within 2 weeks of joining he was a £50 major winner, now he has had his second £50 major win, Roy pays directly by standing order. Geoff McLaughlin (A3259) only joined just before Christmas and now has won a £10 minor prize. Still a very good start, Geoff joined on a recommendation from Mark Wylie, a near neighbour, so let's start 2019 with more recommendations to join Sports Bond.

Agent of the week was Maurice Anderson who had a £50 major winner with Donald Donnelly (A1866) in Ahoghill and a £10 winner with Ian Kennedy (A5514) in Galgorm. The remaining £10 minor winner was Sydney McKeown (5574) on the agency of David Brown in Ballee.

No Jackpot was allocated with the numbers 9, 18, 25 and 27 and so £750 is on offer for this weeks draw.

A Happy New Year to all Sports Bond members.
First Score
The new year is only a week old and already we have had 4 First Score winners. On Saturday at Wilger Park against Dundela the winning time was 8 minutes and saw Jackie Cochrane and Adam Gregg win £30 each. For Jackie it was a 2nd win but for Adam it was a first win.

On New Year's Day at Seaview 2 well known Sky Blue fans were winners. Leslie Kinnear and Derick Greer, both had winning 6 minute cards. Still it is Kaitlyn Purdy and Nigel McIlrath who lead the race on 2 wins each. Each are hoping a 3rd win to clinch the major prize.
Festive Draw
When Brian Thompson began to contact the festive draw winners he discovered it was all points North, South, East and West because there were winners in Broughshane, Ballynahinch, Belfast, Ballymoney, Cullybackey (2) and Stranocum. Only 2 winners were in Ballymena.

A big thank you to all who sold tickets but in particular the Moby Chip staff in Cullybackey, Mark Anderson, Margaret Downey, Alastair Shaw and Leslie Kinnear.
