THE first week of a new Sports Bond year saw Ballykeel net a major £50 double.
In Ballykeel 1 Nathan Gilmore (A2028), a well known Ballymena fan, was a £50 major winner. In Ballykeel 11 it was Sharon Donnelly (8790) who was a £50 major winner. In Ballee Andy McLaughlin (A8630) was a £50 winner on David Brown's agency.

In the minor section a first win for the new agency at Charlie's and it was none other than proprietor Charlie Havelin (B1601). Another bar winner was John Heggarty (A7177) at the Blackstone while Maurice Millar (A5637) was a winner again on the Seven Towers agency.

No Jackpot allocated with the numbers 3, 9, 13 and 23 and so the Jackpot is now £300 for this week.
New Agent
This year we lost 2 agencies, that of Davy Creighton who ran a workplace agency, however he has now retired and the Michelin Social Club. However the Michelin Club agency has been resurrected at Charlie's on Broughshane Street. Proprietor Charlie Havelin opened the new bar a few weeks ago and one of the first things he did was to get a Sports Bond agency up and running. This week they had their first win and was Charlie Havelin himself!
Agent News
A few weeks ago Jim Archer celebrated his 92nd birthday by winning £50 on Sports Bond. Jim put his cheque back in to cover his next years membership, a very nice gesture from a real gentleman.
"Where are our mascots this year?" asks Brian Thompson. We have only one booked for the Linfield match on 1st December. If you would like to have your child as a mascot ring 07831 803970.
