Larne Brothers Win on Sports Bond
Uploaded Sunday, 18th Feb, 2018 at 22:57

IT is only a couple of weeks till Ballymena United play Larne in the Irish Cup, however not all of the coastal town will be supporting Larne as we have Sports Bond members in the town.
Uniquely two young brothers won on Sports Bond this week, both were £10 minor winners but it is so unique that both won on the same week. They are Thomas McRoberts (A7450) and Aden McRoberts (A0243), both are members of Maurice Anderson's agency and are related to Pamela, Maurice's wife.

Elsewhere there were winners for Belfast agent Davy Creighton who had a £50 winner with Tracy Ross (B1396) our only female winner this week. In Antrim town a £50 win for Joe Mairs (A1323) which will please agent Alastair Shaw as he continues his recovery from recent surgery. In Broughshane another £50 win for Thomas Gordon (A3440), the Gordon household have won a considerable amount over the years from food to pool cues and have had continued success on Sports Bond.

The only Ballymena town winner this week was Jimmy Richardson (A4704) who was a £10 minor winner.

No Jackpot allocated with the numbers 2, 4, 8 and 27 and stands at £350 this week.
Agents News
This week we learned of the passing of Mrs Lucille Smith in Lisburn. Mrs Smith was the wife of Eddie Smith Senior and mother of Eddie Junior, Darren, Jonny, Ashley and Melissa who hold a special place in our supporter network as they are a large part of the Lisburn Sky Blues. We extend our sincere sympathy to the Smith family.
First Score
To date here are the First Score winners from the Bet McLean League Cup Final. At the match itself we had Jonny Smith of the Lisburn Sky Blues, followed by track photographer and Ballymena supporter Trevor Armstrong. On the Sky Blue Express we had Robert Hill with thanks to Andy McQuilkin for all his help on the Sky Blue Express. Francine Warwick had a First Score winner at the Horse 'n' Jockey with Gordon Finlay and in Portglenone Margaret Downey had a winner with Steven McGaughey. All had a winning 11 minute ticket and all won £30.
Walk of Hope
Brian Thompson completed his Walk of Hope to Windsor for BraveheartsNI. The walk started in a snow blizzard just outside the Showgrounds, Ballymena and finished on Saturday in sunshine. In between was some very cold weather. Ironically Brian had hoped to be in Dungannon on Friday for the original fixture. He has already walked to Magherafelt so has a few miles to finish on that Walk of Hope.
