Rugby fan wins Sports Bond soccer jackpot
Uploaded Sunday, 14th Jan, 2018 at 22:24

HE is a man more noted for his attachment and love of the game of rugby, he was a former player and chairman of Ballymena Rugby Club and he is the latest Sports Bond £1000 Jackpot winner.
He is a resident of Gracehill and is called Trevor Gillen. The numbers 9, 13, 17 and 20 ensured that Trevor was our latest £1000 Jackpot winner and the second back to back Jackpot for agent Maurice Anderson. Trevor has been a member for 5 years and was delighted to learn of his success.

There is also a nice connection between the agent Maurice Anderson and Trevor's wife Barbara's family. For many years Barbara's father Sam O'Neill and Maurice would travel to Ballymena United fixtures everywhere! What a start to the year Maurice is having as he also had a £50 major winner with Olive McLean (A0088).

Also a major winner was Eddie Harris (A1692) at the Horse N Jockey. Out in Cloughmills Robert Logan (A9278) was a major winner on his own agency.

There were £10 minor wins for Kathleen Sloan (A1624) and Terry Young (B4401) in Ballykeel and Leo Thompson (A6077) had his second £10 win in a few months.

So Trevor Gillen became the first £1000 male winner in almost two years. Could you be our next £1000 Jackpot winner, join Sports Bond now on 07831 803970.
Agents News
It was with regret that we learned of the passing of one of our longest serving members, Mrs Mame Wilson of Gracehill. Mrs Wilson was not just a member but also a good neighbour of Maurice Anderson and his family. She also was Maurice's first ever Jackpot winner. We send our deepest sympathy to her family.
Tommy Matthews
Sports Bond would like to thank Dr Nigel Kyle, Dr Stephen McCurdy and club doctor Brian Patterson, St John Ambulance, Ambulance Service, BUFC stewards and Showgrounds staff for their valiant effort and professionalism in attendance to Tommy Matthews.
