Transfer Activity

MANAGER David Jeffrey has confirmed some activity in the 'out box' during the transfer window so far.
"In the spirit of always wanting to keep supporters abreast of team news, Conor Brennan was approached by Scottish side Greenock Morton with regards to returning to Scotland on a full time contract.
When Conor joined, Bryan and I promised that should full time football become available we wouldn't stand in his way. Conor came to Ballymena United to join Ross Glendinning in challenging for the number one jersey and both goalkeepers have benefitted from that competition. At this current time Ross holds the spot and has been performing very well. It is, however, very pleasing that Conor is staying until after this coming week's semi final before finalising the deal.
Ironically, prior to receiving the news about Conor, the two young goalkeepers well known to us, and whom we continue to monitor the progress of, have both moved to increase their own development with Ben McCauley joining H&W Welders and Thomas Hegan joining Moyola.
Another player going to gain first team football is Jake McNeill. Jake came back to us at the start of the season but has found it hard to break into the first team. Bryan and I have had discussions with him and concluded that at his stage the U20's team is not the best for him, so Bryan has worked to secure an option for Jake to sign for PSNI."
