Uploaded Sunday, 14th May, 2017 at 22:14

IN a week that saw the Eurovision contest, we think of Johnny Logan who celebrated his 63rd birthday on the 30th anniversary of his second win in 1987 and yes on Sports Bond we had a £50 major winner called Logan.
In fact agent Philip Millar in Randalstown has seen his last two major winners have the name Logan, on this occasion it was Caroline Logan (A5595). In Antrim it was a Coleraine supporter, David McAfee (A5164), who was a £50 major winner on the agency of Alastair Shaw. Alastair McCormick (A2212) was a £50 winner back in Ballymena.

Sky Blue fan Raymond Cochrane (A8498) is off soon to live Holywood but will be back at the Showgrounds next season, he wins a £10 minor prize this week as does Betty Henry (C3280) in Ballymena. Whilst Ryan Linton (A5471) was a £10 winner on the agency of Julie Moore in Cullybackey.

The Jackpot numbers of 5, 14, 16 and 22 saw no Jackpot winner allocated and stands at £300 for this week.
Walk of Hope
After celebrating Ballymena's Europa play off final win, it was an early start for Brian Thompson as he completed his Walk of Hope for BraveheartsNI to the North West 200. Having already completed 20 miles from the Showgrounds to Ballymoney, Brian completed the final 12 miles from Ballymoney to Portrush. Alas as he reached the Metropole racing was cancelled due to rain and restarted later. Due to badly blistered feet he has had to delay the walk of the course till the feet recover. This was his 10th Walk of Hope. His next may be to somewhere in Europe as like all the Sky Blue faithful he anxiously awaits the Europa draw on June 19th.
Brian Thompson would like to thank the following businesses - Ross Park and Erwin Bathrooms who provided sponsorship for the playoffs at very short notice.
