Uploaded Sunday, 16th Apr, 2017 at 21:42

THE Spice Girls used to sing and promote Girl Power, now itís similar with Sports Bond.
The last £1000 Jackpot win was with Mrs Milliken and now Jacqui Smith of Antrim, a member of Alastair Shaw's agency has emulated her with another £1000 win when her numbers 2, 3, 10 and 14 were all allocated as the Jackpot winner. The draw was undertaken by Sports Bond agent Maurice Anderson.

The story of girl power did not stop there as there were wins for lady agents and £50 major wins for lady members such as Tricia McAllister (B4727) on the agency of Alison Elliott, Tricia has only been a member for two weeks!! Agent Francine Warwick at the Horse n Jockey had a £50 winner with Robin McCosh (A1991) and Maurice Anderson had a £50 winner with Mary Galbraith (A8454), incredibly this is Mary's second major win in a month.

There was a £10 win for Willie Thompson (B7206) on the agency of P Thompson, in Glenwherry Tommy Matthews had a £10 winner with David Foster (A0441) and in Kells Andrew Boyd (B8838) won £10 on his own agency.

So another £1000 Jackpot win has come and gone and each week women are winning handsome prizes. Join Sports Bond now on 2564 1886, it's the best draw for £1 around, just ask the above winners and agents.
First Score
Congratulations to Tommy Cavan of Knockeen. At Mourneview the First Score was on 43 minutes and Tommy had the winning card. Now as Tommy had won twice previously this season at Portadown and Coleraine away he then wins a free season ticket for next season. As Tommy will get a seniors ticket he will receive the remainder in cash. Sammy Bonnes who was also a double winner this season came close with 42 minutes however he, Derek Russell and Richard Elliott will still have a chance to emulate Tommy at the away fixture at Coleraine. Tommy follows in the path of Davy McCaig and Alan O'Loan who also have won 3 times in a season.

Walk of Hope
The Walk of Hope which Brian Thompson undertook to the League Cup Final raised a marvellous £190.68. This was a fantastic amount as no collection was taken at the ground. Also Glentoran completed a collection for Bravehearts at a recent match against Carrick, this raised £116.38. The next Walk of Hope will see a change in sports as Brian will be walking to the North West 200 and on the Sunday after race day will also walk the course. Plans are also afoot to do a summer Walk of Hope from Carrick to Portrush taking in the magnificent coast road. Details to follow as Brian would like you to join him along the way.
