New Agents Have First Winners
Uploaded Sunday, 26th Feb, 2017 at 20:19

ONE thing about becoming a Sports Bond agent is no matter how many winners you have during your time as an agent you always remember your first win with a member and how much of a thrill it is.
Well this week two new agents who joined in late 2016 had their first win. In Broughshane Alison Elliott who has a friends and family agency had a major 50 winner with her dad Jimmy Elliott (B3151). Congratulation to both, Alison is also "mein host" at the Halfway House, so I am sure we will see a few patrons of the bar joining in the next weeks. In Randalstown Sky Blue supporter Philip Millar joined as an agent, in fact in all the years we have been in existence we have never had an agent in Randalstown so we were delighted to have Philip on board and whilst the agency is still in its infancy we predict big things from this young man. Philips first 10 winner was Sonia McAlister (A1674) who was only in her first week as a member, Sonia must think she is charmed to win in her first Sports Bond week.

The other 50 major winners this week were Carina Moore (B2700) on the agency of Julie Moore which is also her first win on Sports Bond and Harry Steele (A5863) in Ballymena. Harry was a member of the late Campbell Garretts agency.

The remaining two 10 winners were both lady members and are Sandra Lynn (A7183) and Doreen McKay (A0300), in fact the effervescent Sandra was "chirping" to the promoter the night of the final that it was time for her to win again!! There you go Sandra.

Still no Jackpot with the numbers 13, 18, 24 and 27 and the Jackpot is 700 for this week.
First Score
After a long trip to Ballinamallard after 4 weeks on the road the Sky Blue faithful were rewarded with a great win and 3 points and 30 to Sammy Bonnes of the Cushendall Road. The Rathkenny man, a big First Score supporter, had the winning 9 minute ticket. Nice on Sammy. Three other winners from the League Cup Final have been found, Joan Wright on a ticket sold by Tommy Patterson, Martin Boon on a ticket sold by Denis Keenan and George Forsythe on a ticket sold by himself!! All won 30 and can't wait til the next final outing.
